Bhrigu Saral Paddhati (BSP)

These are rules derived from manuscripts from Bhrigu Rishi. These manuscripts are available with Saptarishis Astrology team and are translated by volunteers associated with the Saptarishis Astrology team.

These rules are applicable for running years. The beauty of BSP is that they dont need any dasha or transit. BSPs can be applied on rashi chart as well as divisional charts. They provide a way for snap shot predictions.

Bhrigu Pada Dasha 1

Bhrigu Pada Dasha is based on a planet progression. Here the Arudha or Pada or Aroodh lord movement considered to make predictions. The lord of pada is known as Padesh and we need to see the position of Padesh in a particular year or duration to understand the results. Here only 7 Planets are considered

Moon - 45 years

Mars - 14 years

Mercury - 46 years

Jupiter - 83 years

Venus - 27 years

This progression is based on calculation available in the book "Nadi Praveshika". This is similar to Bhrigu Pada Dasha 1 except:

1. Number of years assigned to Saturn is 29 instead of 30 years

2. Rahu progression is also taken into account

Directional Chart

In the Nadi Astrology, for any natal chart all the planets can belong to one out of 4 directions viz. East, North, West and South. The planets in same direction are considered as in relationship (conjunction). The planets in the opposite direction are deemed to be another kind of relationship (enemies). Fire signs represent East, Earth signs represent South, Air signs represent West and Water sign represent North direction.
